What is Connexions Rochdale?

Connexions is the information, advice and guidance service for all 13 to 19 year olds (up to 25 for young people with Learning Difficulties or Disabilities). Our aim is to help young people to make a successful transition to settled employment and adult life, whatever their ability or background and we will provide extra support to those who need it.

How can Connexions Rochdale help me or my child?

We can provide you with information and advice on career choice, education, training, employment, leisure and personal development. We can also help with more personal matters such as: discrimination, health, housing or money, and support to overcome difficulties and barriers that might prevent them from getting on with their life.

How does Connexions work?

We have Connexions Centres in Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton. Our Personal Advisers work in schools and colleges in the borough, and outreach into the community.

We work with other agencies and organisations who work with teenagers and where appropriate we refer to more specialised services.

We provide a job finding service for young people and work with local employers and learning providers to get the right kind of apprenticeships, jobs and other training opprotunities. Our cnx2jobs vacancy service is designed for young people, and the cnx2jobs website has vacancies across Greater Manchester suitable for young people 16 - 19.
