The only way to avoid an unplanned pregnancy is not to have sex; if you do have sex you can reduce the risks of an unplanned pregnancy by using some form of reliable contraception.

You can talk to your Personal Adviser about any of these issues, or your GP or Health Clinic.

• Likeitis - provides specialist information, advice and support to young people relating to pregnancy and teenage parenting.
• Brook - provides free contraception and advice to young people under 25. There is a Brook Clinic in Manchester at

Brook Manchester will only see young people under the age of 20.

Brook Oldham will only see young people under the age of 21.
